Lehighton Area School District’s board of directors approved the following personnel moves during Monday’s meeting:

Hirings

• Tiffany Strausberger, supervisor of alternative education/assistant supervisor of special services/district assessment coordinator at an annual salary of $70,000 with an effective date of Oct. 10.

• Jessica Wiese-Bach, long-term substitute special education teacher at the high school with an annual salary of $43,000.

• Lauren Marks, long-term substitute learning support teacher at the Elementary Center with an annual salary of $43,000.

• Donald Steigerwalt, full-time day shift high school lead custodian with a stipend as the lead for the 2022-23 school year and thereafter at $1,900 per school year.

• Melissa Hunsicker, 12-month secretary at the Elementary Center with an annual salary of $28,238.

• John Partenio, lunch aide at the Elementary Center, $10.02 per hour.

• Frances Weible, lunch aide at the Elementary Center, $10.02 per hour.

Retirements

• Todd Weaver, district utility custodian, effective Jan. 9, 2023 after 28.42 years of service.

• Floyd Koehler, elementary center utility lead custodian, effective Jan. 31, 2023 after 15.27 years of service.

• Monah Lorah, elementary center head cook, effective Jan. 31, 2023 after 18.56 years of service.
