The average price of a gallon of gas in Pennsylvania continues to tick down, according to AAA East Central’s gas price report.

The average price across the state on Tuesday was $3.795 a gallon, down 5 cents from a week ago. The average price on Sept. 27, 2021, was $3.336.

In the Lehigh Valley area on Tuesday, the average price was $3.68.

Nationally, the price rose 7 cents a gallon from last week, averaging $3.747, with the main reason being refinery issues on the West Coast and in the Midwest.
