The Friends of Tuscarora and Locust Lake State Parks will hold the second annual Bark in the Park fundraiser Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. at Locust Lake State Park in Barnesville.

The event promises to be a tail-wagging good time, with special activities for both humans and canines.

Events include dog friendly vendors, food trucks for humans and pets, Reading Disc Dogs demonstration, pet blessing, pet photographer, Pawcasso Paintings, pet reiki, educational programs, face painting, low-cost pet micro-chipping, silent auction items and animal rescue groups.

The event is free. Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome. All proceeds benefit the Friends group to support the mission to inspire stewardship and to sustain and enhance Pennsylvania’s state parks and forests.
