A Lansdale area couple has donated a one-half acre lot in a township development to the Penn Forest Township Ambulance Corps to sell.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Malz donated the plot which is located in the Mt. Pocahontas development located off Rt. 534.

Floyd L. Day Jr., treasurer of the corps, said he anticipates the lot to sell for about $4,500, which the corps will use to update ambulance equipment.

The Luther R. Getz Realty firm will handle the same for the ambulance group. Getz said this is the first time he knows of that someone gave land to the ambulance corps to be sold.
