The annual Carbon County Walk to End Alzheimer's was Saturday at Mauch Chunk Lake Park. From left, Courtney Blocker, Robin Blocker and Rebecca Blocker, all of Walnutport, remember their late grandfather and Robin's father who died in 2018 after suffering from Alzheimer's. They were among more than 100 people who participated in the walk. Robin recalled the agony of seeing her father with the memory-loss ailment, saying, “When he passed away, we had already lost him.”
