Palmerton Area Library is in search of a new library program administrator.

Library Director Christine DeSousa said the individual will also serve as the activities coordinator.

“It’s developing and running a lot of activities/programs that happen here at the library,” DeSousa said.

DeSousa said that includes Story Time, children’s stuff, STEAM, and Teen Activities as well.

She said the library’s program administrator resigned, and that interested candidates may apply for the position by stopping in at the library.

DeSousa said they may hand in their resume and fill out an application form at that time, or they may email plapalm@ptd.net, or call 610-826-3424.

She said the library’s Quilt Guild will hold Bingo on Oct. 9. Doors open at noon, and bingo starts at 1 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the library.
