Monroe County police reports

State police at Stroudsburg reported a burglary at the Lock Tyle Self Storage in Hamilton Township, Monroe County.

Troopers said someone pried open a storage unit at the facility. Taken were Nintendo games with a value of $215. The incident was reported on Sept. 11 by a 37-year-old man from Effort.

Anyone with information is asked to call troopers at 570-619-6800.

• A 27-year-old Bangor man is facing drug possession charges filed by state police at the Stroudsburg barracks.

Police said they were called Sept. 6 to Turtle Walk Lane, Hamilton Township, for a report of a man lying in the roadway. Police said the man was taken into custody after they found drugs on him.

• Pocono Mountain Regional Police say an Upper Darby woman faces several charges after an incident in Barrett Township on Sept. 5.

Police say Dorrella Selina Noel, 21, entered a home in the township in the afternoon and threatened a person.

Noel is charged with burglary, criminal trespass, terroristic threats, possession of instruments of crime, simple assault, harassment by communications, harassment and criminal mischief.

Noel was sent to the Monroe County Correctional Facility in Snydersville.

Police said the incident happened in the 100 block of Brookside Lane in Cresco. They were called to the scene because of a domestic disturbance involving a knife.

Police said when they arrived, there was a dispute involving a person who did not live at the house.

Police said Noel gained entry to the residence through forcible means, and injured a person at the residence. Police said she made verbal threats to harm the person and had a knife on her.
