The Mahoning Valley Volunteer Fire Co. No. 1 is holding its annual event, the “Celebration of Community,” on Sept. 17.

The event starts with the Fire 5K race at 10 a.m., a 1-mile fun walk at 11:30 a.m., a corn hole tournament at 12:30 p.m. with an old fashioned carnival feel, a huge basket raffle, plenty of food with a BBQ, games, prizes, bounce houses, craft and vending area, and a kids firefighting obstacle course.
