It’s time to put on those cowboy boots and mosey down to the Walk In Art Center for a fun night of country line dancing, outdoors, with live country band Sunset Road on Sunday, starting at 6 p.m. at 220 Parkway in Schuylkill Haven.

Sunset Road hails from the Reading area and features Gerry Eisenhower on lead vocals and guitar, Chris Anastasio on vocals and lead guitar, Tom Klopp on keyboards and bass, Craig Conrad on drums and vocals. Joe Stoebenau adds that country flair playing steel guitar, guitar, mandolin, and harmonica. The guys promise to play a mix of danceable tunes and modern country.

“We wanted to end our summer concert series with some great music and a little extra fun,” says the WIAC’s Executive Director Jacquie Engel. “We are going to bring in some hay bales to sit on, string up some Edison lights on the dance area, and really have an old-fashioned hoedown.”

Those not wishing to dance can come by and enjoy the music. Tickets are $10 if purchased in advance at walkinartcenter.org, or $15 at the gate. Adult beverages will be for sale People are encouraged to bring snacks and lawn/camp chairs.
