State police at Frackville reported on the following crashes investigated by troopers on Schuylkill County roadways.
• A one-vehicle crash was reported at 2:20 p.m. on July 29 along Route 443 (Clamtown Road), in Walker Township.
Troopers said David B. Wensel, 25, of Tamaqua, was driving a 2006 Ford F250 pickup westbound when he failed to negotiate a right hand curve in the road. Wensel sustained a suspected minor injury but refused medical treatment. The truck had to be towed.
Assisting troopers at the scene were a Tamaqua EMS unit and Walker Township Fire Company volunteers.
Wensel was cited for the crash.
• Another one-vehicle crash was reported at 5:30 a.m. on Aug. 20 along Route 1010 in Mahanoy Township.
Troopers said Samantha M. Bowman, 31, of Mahanoy City, was driving a 2019 Jeep Cherokee northbound when the vehicle left the road and struck a utility pole.
