• Pocono Mountain Regional police reported the arrest of three individuals at a Pocono area business.

Police responded to Pocono Rocks and Little Rock Cafe, 1428 Pocono Blvd., Mount Pocono, on Aug. 6 at 2:38 p.m. for a report of a fight involving several males.

As a result of an investigation Eric E. Rivera, 36, of Tobyhanna; Eric M. Safianow, 27, of Jim Thorpe; and Avery A. Flowers, 24, of Pocono Summit, were each charged with simple assault, persistent disorderly conduct and harassment.

Police also reported on another incident.

• On Aug. 19 at 8 p.m. police were dispatched to a home along Parafin Lane, in Tunkhannock Township, for a report of a male not leaving the property when asked to do so. The suspect was identified as John Lee Harper, 60, of Tobyhanna, who officers knew had an outstanding arrest warrant.

Harper was located at the intersection of Kuhenbeaker Road and Flame Drive, and taken into custody without incident. While taking him into custody police found a small amount of marijuana on his person.

He was taken to the county prison in Snydersville on the outstanding warrant with a drug count to be filed for the marijuana possession.
