Together with Veterans NEPA has several upcoming events for Carbon County area veterans.

• The next Vietnam veteran Coffee and Camaraderie event is from 9:30-11 a.m. on Sept. 8 at the Nesquehoning Hose Company No. 1, 953 E. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning.

RSVPs are requested by no later than Sept. 6 by calling the Carbon County Veterans Affairs office at 570-325-3986 or emailing cleclair@carboncounty.net.

• The next Veteran Community Quarterly Reachout is from 9-11 a.m. on Oct. 25 at the Lehighton American Legion, Post 314, 314 Veterans Ave., Lehighton.

The event includes breakfast and the launch of a specialized veterans #Reachout training geared at community leaders, first responders, health care and nonprofit professionals.

The event is free and open to all but registration is required.

• A Veterans Day Dinner for all veterans is at Penn’s Peak on Nov. 10 from 5 to 8 p.m.

It is open to all veterans plus one guest.
