Schuylkill County commissioners on Wednesday agreed to lease a 2022 Ford ranger 4x4 super cab through a five-year contract with Mauch Chunk Trust Company for a total cost of $27,023.60 for the Public Works Department.

In personnel actions Wednesday, commissioners accepted the resignation of Children and Youth Service Agency caseworker II Kesh Blunt, Temple, as of July 29.

Commissioners also accepted the resignations of part-time clerk Alexis Kofluk, North Union Township, from the District Attorney’s Office as of July 27, and of secretary III Kaitlynn Steich, Eldred Township, from the Public Defenders Office as of Aug. 12.

Commissioners approved the hiring of Stephen Bloschicak III, Frackville, as an Adult Probation aide as of Aug. 1. He’ll be paid $19 an hour.
