The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers recently updated the 2022 flow management plan for Francis E. Walter Dam.

There is currently enough water storage to schedule additional whitewater dam releases of 650 cubic feet per second on Aug. 27 and 28.

The updated plan also includes additional fisheries enhancement releases of 100 cubic feet per second through July 29.

Whitewater dam releases are also scheduled to take place every Saturday and Sunday through Aug. 28.

All recreational releases are subject to change based on the potential need for flood control.
