St. Matthew Lutheran Church, North Weissport, and Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Palmerton, will host a music festival on Sunday.

The festival will be held, starting at 3 p.m. at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 222 Church St., Lehighton in Franklin Township. It will include a festival of hymns and church music featuring the choirs from both churches, as well as the handbell choir from Holy Trinity.

The choirs, under the direction of Robert Fatzinger and Lizzie Reif, will present a variety of music beginning in the season of Advent continuing through all of the seasons and celebrations of the church year. In addition, there will be congregational hymn singing as well. A freewill offering will be accepted.

Following the musical celebration, a time of fellowship and light refreshments will be held in the parish hall.
