A Monroe County man was killed in a crash Wednesday night in Stroud Township.

The Lehigh County Coroner’s office said Michael J. Bobitka, 61, of Price Township was pronounced dead at 7:44 p.m. Wednesday at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg.

An autopsy was completed on Thursday. The cause of death is: Multiple Blunt Force Injuries due to Motorcycle/Motor Vehicle Accident.

Bobitka was the operator of a motorcycle that was in the collision with a motor vehicle.

The incident occurred on Wednesday at approximately 6:32 p.m. in the intersection of N. 5th Street and Oakwood Avenue, Stroud Township.

In addition to the coroner’s office, this death is being investigated by the Stroud Area Regional Police Department.
