The Friends of Tuscarora and Locust Lake State Parks will meet Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Tuscarora State Park Visitor Center in Barnesville. The public is invited.

The 9 a.m. board meeting will be followed by a 10 a.m. to noon volunteer project that includes cleaning the garden area around the office and maintaining the pond at the center.

People are needed to adopt the pond for regular maintenance while working with park Manager Nicholas Sulzer.
