Ross Twp. to launch new website
Ross Township’s new website will launch in about a week.
The site, www.rosstwpmcpa.gov, “will have less confusion and more information in a concise way,” said Matthew D’Elia, whom the township hired to create the new website.
With a laptop in hand, he showed the audience and township staff the new site during Monday’s supervisors meeting.
It has a calendar with township events and meetings. Information about township personnel, permits, forms and other documents will be accessible in a fewer number of pages and clicks than the current site.
Once it launches, the existing www.rosstwp.com, will be removed.
“The .gov extension gives us more opportunity to stay secure,” he said.
It will also allow web searchers to find the correct Ross Township quicker.
There is also a Ross Township in Allegheny County. It is adjacent to the northern border of Pittsburgh.
