Palmerton picked up a victory in Lehigh Valley Connie Mack action Friday, while Northern Valley posted a win in an LV Legion contest.

Palmerton pulled away from Catasauqua for an 11-1 in Lehigh Valley Connie Mack action.

Derek King (double) and Owen Hubbard (triple) each had two hits, an RBI and scored a run for Palmerton, which pushed across three runs in the third inning and five in the fourth to take a 10-0 lead. Matthew Domski added a hit with two RBIs and a run scored, while Dalton Rumfield tripled with an RBI and a run scored. Starter Aston Solt struck out three with just three hits allowed in four-and-a-third innings pitched before Trey Sterling came on to record the final two outs, recording one strikeout without allowing a hit.

Northern Valley turned back South Parkland for a 9-6 win in Lehigh Valley Legion action.

Tyler Fenstermaker tripled with an RBI and scored three runs with two walks for Northern Valley. Fenstermaker also tossed two scoreless - and hitless - innings in relief to secure the win.

Nickolas Schweitzer had a hit and two RBIs, while Wesley George also collected a hit and drove in a run and Samuel Mauro had a hit and scored three times.

Gavin Mohry tripled and scored twice for South Parkland.

Whitehall rolled to a 12-1 over the Carbon Monarchs in a Lehigh Valley Legion contest on Thursday

Jace Duld (two runs scored) and Tyler Mastropieri (run scored) each had two hits and an RBI for Whitehall, while Dylan Carfara doubled and Owen Ness tripled. On the mound, Carfara struck out seven and allowed one hit in five innings of work.

Jack Edwards had a hit for the Monarchs.

Jake Barto’s big day at the plate and Joseph Algard’s dominant performance on the mound led North Parkland to a 10-0 win over Northern Valley in Lehigh Valley Legion action Thursday.

Algard tossed a no-hitter, striking out eight with just one walk in the contest. He also had a hit and scored twice.

Barto was 3-for-3 with a double, four RBIs and three runs scored for North Parkland. Sean Rivera also added two hits, an RBI and a run scored, while Wyatt Landis had a hit with two RBIs and Allan Burgos doubled and scored a run.

Samuel Mauro drew a walk for Northern Valley.
