Jaclyn Jordan of Lehighton, daughter of Jeffrey and Lynn Jordan, was awarded a doctor of medicine degree from Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine in Scranton on May 15.

A member of the Class of 2014 at Lehighton Area High School, she attended Ursinus College in Collegeville, where she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in biology.

While at Geisinger, she was the Class of 2022 student engagement officer, vice president of the volleyball club, treasurer of the EM interest group, a Peer Mentorship program leader, a volunteer of English as a second language tutoring, and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

Dr. Jordan will be completing her residency in emergency medicine at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey.
