Monroe county incidents
State police at Fern Ridge reported on the following incidents in Monroe County:
• On June 4 at 6:44 p.m. troopers responded to the West End Fairgrounds, 570 Fairground Road, in Chestnuthill Township, after receiving a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival it was learned that three girls had thrown a 12-year-old girl from Fairfax, Virginia, to the ground by pulling her hair and then kicked her repeatedly.
The girls, age 12 and one 14 from Saylorsburg, and the other age 14 from Effort, were charged with harassment - physical contact.
• On May 28 at 6:17 p.m. troopers were dispatched to 1278 Overlook Court in Chestnuthill Township, for a disagreement between an uncle and nephew. Michael Milevoi, 45, of Saylorsburg, was cited for harassment - physical contact, with a 21-year-old man from Saylorsburg as the listed victim.
State police at Stroudsburg
State police at Stroudsburg reported on the following incidents:
• Troopers stopped a 2018 Dodge Ram truck at 2:13 p.m. on May 29 at Route 209 and Interstate 80 eastbound in Stroud Township for vehicle code violations.
The driver, Jay Justiniano, 30, of Effort, was found in possession of a small amount of marijuana and placed under arrest. Charges were filed.
• Police said Cynthia Arthur, 67, of Saylorsburg, was stopped at East Terrace Drive and Route 115, in Hamilton Township, on June 10 at 8:49 p.m. She was found to be operating a 2004 Chevrolet Colorado truck under the influence of alcohol, troopers said. Troopers added that she was found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
• Mary Egan, 52, of Blakeslee, was driving a 2014 Subaru Crosstrek at 7:25 p.m. on April 29 along Route 33 in Hamilton Township. The vehicle left the road and crashed into shrubs on the property at 2187 Shafer Road. Damages were estimated at $3,000. She was also charged with criminal mischief.
• On June 3 at 12:03 a.m. troopers conducted a traffic stop of a 2013 Nissan Altima along Interstate 380 in Tobyhanna Township for a traffic violation. The driver, Damian Burak, 23, of Albrightsville, had illegal substances. A drug charge is pending.
• On May 29 at 12:26 a.m. troopers conducted a traffic stop of a 2012 Ford Focus along Route 611 at Laurel Court in Pocono Township, for a traffic violation. The driver, John Milevoi, 53, of Pocono Summit, was in possession of marijuana. Charges are pending.
