West Penn Township supervisors took the following action on Monday:

• Renewed the township’s two-year contract with Signal Service for maintenance of the traffic light at the intersection of Leiby’s Restaurant.

• A public hearing for the new zoning ordinance and map set for 5:30 p.m. July 5.

• Adopted a resolution for the adoption of the Standard Operating Procedures of the police department for 2022.

Glenn Hummel made a motion to adopt Resolution 18 of 2022, adoption of the new standard operating procedures for 2022 of the police department.

• Advertised for road material bids.
