Pope Paul VI has conferred the rank of Honorary Prelate of His Holiness, with the title of Monsignor, upon 14 priests in the Diocese of Allentown, including three local pastors, according to an announcement by Bishop Joseph McShea.

The local priests include the Rev. Monsignor Joseph P. Marzen, pastor of St. Joseph Church, and the Rev. Monsignor Joseph P. Dooley, pastor of Immaculate Conception Church, both of Jim Thorpe, and the Rev. Monsignor Thomas A., Hoban, pastor of St. Ann Church, Lansford.
