Walnutport Borough Council approved the following on Thursday:

• Rebecca Barley as a part-time police officer at the rate of $19 an hour.

• Resignation of part-time officer Michael Leighton, effective April 11.

• Officer Nicholas Hartman to attend school at a cost of $275.

• Purchase fence and block for Green Street in the amount of $500.

• Announced that the Electronics Recycling Day event will be held from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday in the borough hall parking lot.
