Brodhead Watershed Association invites you to support local pollinators and clean water by planting native this spring. The organization’s annual online Native Plant Sale is now open.
Order online through May 14 and pick up on May 28.
More than 60 types of perennial plants and shrubs are available, including sun- and shade-loving plants, deer-resistant varieties, and butterfly magnets like milkweed. All featured plants are adapted to our area and beneficial to the local ecosystem.
Native plants need less fertilizer, use fewer pesticides, and help insects pollinate.
Proceeds from the Native Plant Sale support Brodhead Watershed Association’s commitment to clean and abundant water. Order at https://shop.brodheadwatershed.org/shop.
Orders will be distributed during curbside pickup from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 28, at Pocono Township Fire Hall’s “carnival building” on Route 611, Tannersville. Bring your receipt and ID to verify your purchase.
Plant sale purchases are nonrefundable.
If plants do not meet quality standards, customers will be provided a full refund and notified prior to pickup.
