Bids received for a road paving project in Towamensing Township are under review.

Supervisors on Thursday unanimously agreed to table the matter until the bids could be reviewed by the township’s engineer.

A total of four bids were received, all of which included a base bid, along with two alternates.

Lehigh Asphalt Paving & Construction turned in the apparent low base bid of $652,411, along with Alternate A ($415,651) and Alternate B ($202,363).

H&K Group was the next lowest with a base bid of $682,907, along with Alternate A ($416,546) and Alternate B ($207,632).

New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co. came in with a base bid of $690,671, along with Alternate A (417,818) and Alternate B ($213,441).

Hanson Aggregate PA LLC turned in a base bid of $706,092, along with Alternate A ($448,941) and Alternate B ($227,012).

Earlier in the meeting, the board also briefly discussed roof prices for the main building.

A short time later, supervisors tabled that matter as well.
