Makayla Boyle, Tamaqua, daughter of Thomas Boyle and the late Jane Boyle, has been named to The National Society of Leadership and Success at Walden University. Makayla is currently working on her Ph.D. in public health-epidemiology.

Makayla is working at PPD as an associate project manager. Prior to that, she worked at Eurofins Labs/Lancaster on raw materials for COVID-19 vaccines and treatments. Makayla received her master’s degree in biomedical sciences from Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine, and her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Alvernia University.
