Rush Township police are investigating a hit and run accident that occurred in the McDonald's parking lot in Hometown.

The incident reportedly took place at 2:15 p.m. on Feb. 8.The victim is Ruth Kester of Tamaqua and the striking vehicle is described as a black van.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call police at (570) 668-4242.
