The Rush Township Board of Supervisors saw a light agenda for April.

During the meeting, supervisors awarded a contract for line painting on township roads to DeAngelo Contracting Services LLC of Hazleton for $16,125.

The board also approved the purchase of a paver and roller from Council of Governments for $12,500.

In an unrelated matter, township residents who are undertaking yard cleanups are asked to bag leaves and bundle branches. The yard waste is to be left at the curb for pickup.

Rush Township hasn’t scheduled its branch and leaf cleanup but will post the date when it is determined. Residents will be alerted through the township’s telephone messaging system.
