One person was injured Thursday afternoon in a crash in Jim Thorpe.

The accident occurred around 2:30 p.m. along Route 209 between the Route 903 bridge and the Liberties. When emergency personnel arrived on scene they found a late model Honda CR-V on its roof and a pickup truck with heavy right rear quarter damage.

The injured was treated at the scene by Lehighton paramedics before being transported to the St. Luke’s Carbon campus. Route 209 was closed to traffic by area fire police during the incident.

Jim Thorpe police are investigating the incident.
