Mahoning Township supervisors took the following action on Wednesday:

• Approved a resolution authorizing board Chairman Robert Slaw to execute the Lehigh Valley Hospital corrected deed feed simple (contingent upon receiving the record owner lien certificate and indemnification from LVH), as well as the LVH indemnification agreement.

• Denied a request from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation for Lehigh Valley Health Network to apply for a PennDOT permit in the name of the township for the small portion of sidewalk in the PennDOT right of way.

• Tabled the Sierra Vista pre-security agreement.

• Submitted adoption of Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance 2022 for grant submission/meet grant requirements.

• Submitted adoption of zoning 2022 for grant submission/meet grant requirements.

• Awarded a contract for road material bids to Lehigh Asphalt in the amount of $413,205.

• Awarded the Spring Hill Road project to Lehigh Asphalt in the amount of $58,182.

• Awarded fuel material bids to Suburban Propane.

• Approved the James Danner heart and lung request withdrawn letter dated April 6.

• Approved the Drue and Jan Haydt minor subdivision for all conditions met beyond the time period for recording at the Carbon County level.

• Approved the Joe C. Neff and Kenneth G. Ahner lot line adjustment plan.
