The Women of the ELCA will meet at 7 p.m. todayLuther Hall, 175 S. Third St. Guests Edwin and Barbara Belon will share their experience of Rotary International's mission trip "Operation Honduras" this past spring. All are welcome. Light refreshments will be served following the video.The regular worship schedule resumes Sunday at 8:30 and 11 a.m. The praise band will provide music at the early time.The Rev. Nancy Moore presides, Vicar Lauren Heywood assists. Coffeehouse fellowship is at 9:30 a.m. The church is air-conditioned.Sunday church school for students ages 3 through sixth grade and confirmation classes for students in seventh and eighth grades begins at 9:45 a.m. with special "Rally Day" activities.At 3 p.m., the Rev. Nancy Moore will be installed as the full-time pastor. Bishop Samuel Zeiser will officiate. Guest preacher is the Rev. Kevin Shock from Allegheny Synod. Special music will be included in the celebration.Beginning Wednesday, junior high students in grades 5-8 will meet from 5-7 p.m. on the second and fourth Wednesdays. Beginning Sept. 18, high school students in grades 9-12 will meet weekly from 5-7 p.m. on Sundays. Vicar Lauren Heywood is the youth group director.For those desiring to arrange baptism, Pastor Moore will meet with parents and provide instructional information Sept. 18 at noon. For those desiring to become members at Trinity, Moore will meet at noon Sept. 25 with information.
