State police at the Lehighton barracks are investigating a burglary in which copper piping was taken from a residence in Lower Towamensing Township.

The incident was reported at 6:30 p.m. March 7. The victim is Robert D. Weller, 72, of Liverpool, N.Y.He reported soemone removed the piping from his residence at 3560 Hahn's Dairy Road in the township.
