A Tamaqua man has been cited after he was observed drinking alcohol at the North/Middle Ward Playground.

John Buckingham, 21, of 35 Lafayette St., admitted to drinking in the park at 6:39 p.m. on March 12.He was cited for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
