Silberline Manufacturing Co. Inc., the global supplier of effect pigments with its corporate headquarters in Tamaqua, announced W. Anthony Major recently received a promotion to the position of vice president of manufacturing development-Asia.

Major, a 24-year veteran of the firm, most recently held the position of vice president of operations.

In his new position, he assumed responsibilities for leading the important project of startup of Silberline’s newest facility in Singapore.

Major is a graduate of Cleveland State University and holds a master’s degree in business administration from DeSales University. He and his wife, Hazel, reside in New Tripoli.
