A structure fire early this morning in the South Ward section of Tamaqua left an estimated $75,000 in damages, four firemen injured (two seriously), and a borough contractor with much of his business possessions ruined. The blaze occurred at 1:10 a.m. at a garage located at 113 Spruce St., where contractor Ralph DeAngelo stores his business materials and several vehicles, including three classic cars. Injured were firemen Charles Rodgers, 27; Harry Heffelfinger, 17; Thomas Weaver, and Daniel Reigel.
