A Palmerton woman reported to state police at Lehighton that someone used her personal information to make purchases online to the Lenovo public web purchase.

Troopers said the victim reported three charges were made through a Genesis credit account by an unknown person totaling $3,951.44.

She reported the incident to the credit bureau and the account has been closed. The victim will not be held responsible for the fraudulent charges.
