The Tamaqua Area Adult Day Care Center will celebrate its 25th anniversary with a party on Sept. 8.Other activities for this month include: Sept. 9, indoor golf; Sept. 12, flu shots; Sept. 13, bingo; Sept. 19, singalong with Audrey Christ and scarecrow craft day; Sept. 21, baking event; Sept. 22, takeout platter fundraiser from 4 to 6:30 p.m.; Sept. 28, visit from the foot doctor.In addition to weekly singalongs, exercise sessions, a variety of therapies and social games, the center provides hairstyling service, which requires advance notice.
