Monroe crashes

State police at Stroudsburg reported investigating a one-vehicle crash around 1:45 p.m. on March 6 along Interstate 80 in Pocono Township, Monroe County.

• Troopers said Celeste M. Hardwick, 59, of Tobyhanna, was operating a 2017 Nissan Rogue eastbound when she struck a deer that had entered the road in front of her. Hardwick was not injured but the vehicle had to be towed.

• A two-vehicle crash was reported at 6:38 p.m. on March 3 along Route 115 in Hamilton Township. Troopers said Michael A. Petito, 51, of Toms River, New Jersey, driving a 2009 Chevrolet Malibu, was attempting to make a left turn while southbound when his vehicle was struck by a 2017 Ford Fusion driven by Denise S. Giogaia, 55, of Saylorsburg, who was northbound.

No one was injured. Petito was cited for vehicle turning left.
