Ash Wednesday service

St. John's Lutheran Church, South Avenue, will hold a noontime service on Wednesday for imposition of ashes and prayers. The service of ashes, Word and Sacrament will be held at 7 p.m.Class luncheonMembers of the 1964 graduating class of Jim Thorpe Area High School are beginning to plan for their March luncheon.
