State police at Schuylkill Haven reported on the following incidents in Schuylkill County:

• On Feb. 19 at 12:13 p.m. troopers responded to a location along Route 61 in North Manheim Township, for a road rage type incident. On scene troopers said they learned that Mariah Dixon, 36, of Pottsville, struck a 52-year-old woman from Orwigsburg, with an open hand after following the victim southbound on 61. Dixon claimed that she was upset because the victim had committed what she perceived to be a traffic infraction, so, she followed the victim and struck her.

Dixon was issued a non-traffic citation for harassment - physical contact.

• Police said a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee was stopped at 12:05 a.m. on Feb. 5 at First and Market streets, in Port Carbon for a traffic violation. The driver, John Zelinsky, 34, of Pottsville, was found to be impaired while driving. He also was found in possession of methamphetamine. Charges of DUI of controlled substance and drug possession are pending.
