Wind advisory tonight, up to 1 inch rain possible

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory from 11 tonight through 10 a.m. Friday.

Southwest winds from 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph are expected.

Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

Here’s the latest forecast: A chance of showers, mainly after 3 p.m. Cloudy, with a high near 57. Southwest wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Tonight: Showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 1 a.m. Low around 42. Breezy, with a south wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.

Friday: Showers and thunderstorms likely before 8 a.m., then a slight chance of showers between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a temperature falling to around 32 by 5 p.m. Northwest wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 19. Northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

Saturday: A slight chance of snow showers after 1 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 37. Breezy, with a southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 15.

Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 38.
