Bowmanstown Borough Council took the following action on Tuesday:

• Agreed to buy a flow meter at a cost of under $4,200 for the sewer department.

• Agreed to advertise for adoption the first draft of a parking ordinance.

• Appointed council Vice President Darren Thomas as delegate, and council President Pam Leiby as alternate delegate to the Carbon County Tax Collection Committee.

• Announced the borough is looking for a cleaning lady to clean the borough office for three hours once a month.
