A Schuylkill County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following a one-vehicle crash that occurred about 2 p.m. on Monday, June 4, along SR895, just east of Church Lane, in East Brunswick Township.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Robert Dennis Rotkiske, 54, of New Ringgold, was driving a 1989 Jeep Comanche westbound when the vehicle left the road for unknown reasons. The Jeep went down a six-foot embankment where it came to rest.Rotkiske was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest for DUI. Charges will be filed, trooper said.
