A Schuylkill County man is facing charges following an incident reported on Jan. 26 at 9 a.m.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said a 69-year-old Orwigsburg resident, reported Steven Reed, 54, of New Philadelphia, was a contractor for him and he allowed Reed to use his truck because his personal vehicle had broken down. The victim said that Reed was told verbally on several occasions to return the truck and was ultimately told that the truck is to be returned by Jan. 22. Reed failed to return the truck as told.

As a result Reed was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
