A 16-year-old Lehighton male was cited for a violation of a Lehighton borough ordinance, which states that it is unlawful to roller skate or skateboard or ride upon or propel any coaster or toy vehicle upon any street except to cross the roadway.

The boy was found skateboarding in the middle of the street in the travel portion of S. Seventh St. on June 19, at 3:45 p.m.He had previously been warned and advised of the ordinance on June 9.
