State police at Fern Ridge

State police at Fern Ridge reported on the following arrests made by troopers.

• On Jan. 2 at 10:08 a.m. troopers responded to 2138 Route 115 in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, for a physical altercation. During an investigation

it was determined that Jacob Becker, 33, of Albrightsville, and Christopher Enz, 36, of Bangor, made physical contact with each other during a custody exchange.

Both were cited for harassment - physical contact.

• On Jan. 11 at 2:16 a.m. troopers engaged with a suspicious vehicle and driver at Keystone Auto Sales, 2003 Route 209, in Chestnuthill Township. While interacting with the operator the male driver fled in the 2013 Ford F150 truck.

He was later identified as David Frantz, 59, of Kunkletown. A charge of criminal mischief was filed against him, troopers said.

• On Jan. 4 at 9:39 a.m. troopers were dispatched to the 100 block of Helene Terrace, Jackson Township, Monroe County, for a burglar alarm.

After determining the alarm was activated falsely it was discovered it was the sixth false alarm in a 12-month period. As a result Kimberly Strothers, 60, of Laurelton, New York, was cited for false alarms.

• On Jan. 10 at 2:49 a.m. troopers conducted a traffic stop of a 2010 Kia Forte at Kuhenbeaker Road and Route 115 in Tunkhannock Township, Monroe County, for a traffic violation.

During the stop it was discovered the driver, a 31-year-old man from Tannersville, who troopers declined to identify, was under the influence of alcohol. He was taken into custody. A DUI charge is pending test results.
