State police at the Fern Ridge barracks are investigating an aggravated assault incident whereby someone fired three shots into a residence in Chestnuthill Township.

The incident happened at 10:15 p.m. July 17. The victim is a resident of 1024 State Road in the township.Police said the shots were fired from a passing vehicle, after which time the owner discovered three bullet holes in the siding of the home. None of the home's occupants were injured.
