A apparent Monroe County man is facing a charge of statutory sexual assault.

State police at Lehighton said Naim Malik, 20, no address given, was charged for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old female at a residence in Tunkhannock Township, Monroe County.The alleged incidents occurred during the time frame of Jan. 1 to May 1. Troopers said the charge was based on the age of the female.
