An Albrightsville man has been charged with breaking into a Penn Forest Township couple’s home.
At 7:06 a.m. Dec. 23, state police were dispatched because a man was found in the basement of a house on Chickadee Lane, Penn Forest Township.
Police identified him as Sean Morgan, 49.
The homeowners said that they did not know Morgan, and that he entered their basement through the exterior basement door which was secured by eye bolts and hooks.
They also noticed that a screen to the front of their house was damaged.
Morgan was taken into custody and charged with criminal trespass; criminal mischief; and disorderly conduct.
He was taken to Carbon County Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000, 10% monetary bail, and was scheduled to have a preliminary hearing Wednesday before District Judge Eric M. Schrantz of Jim Thorpe.
